Learning and Information Problem-Solving in a Digital Age

Formerly a teacher-librarian and a technology integration specialist in K-12 schools, John L. Marino, Jr. is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas.

His research focuses on learning through information problem-solving in a variety of contexts, and impacted by social and technological factors.

He holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Delaware, an MA in Education of the Deaf from Gallaudet University, an MS in Information Science from the University of Washington, and a PhD from the Information School at the University of Washington.
